Welcome to the LaPierre Research Group Website

Allow us first to briefly introduce ourselves. We are a research team within the Department of Engineering Physics at McMaster University (Hamilton, ON, Canada), that came to life in May 2004 from the initiative of Dr. Ray LaPierre. Our current work principally focuses on the MBE growth and characterization of III-V nanowires, and their applicability in the development of novel devices such as biosensors.
